Many years ago, the first time I visited Prescott, I knew instantly, This is Home!
As I walk through the streets of Downtown, I always feel like I’ve lived here my whole life. Every Shop I walk into, it’s as if I’ve been walking through that same door forever. Every festival, fair, and gathering is as if I’ve always been there to take part in the festivities. Every Passerby feels like a neighbor, every Restaurant meal is like a Home Cooked Dinner with Family.
While the natural Beauty of the Prescott area is second to none with our Beautiful Lakes, Majestic Mountains, Epic Hiking, and Peaceful Parks, there’s so much more to our wonderful little spot on the map that we call “Preskitt” (like Biscuit).
The Architecture of all of the Historic buildings. The Stories told by Oldtimers in the Square. The quaint little Mom & Pop Shops. Whiskey Row. The Locals. All together they create the Small Town feel, the Sense of Community that we all long for while still offering all of the conveniences of living in a Metropolitan city like Shopping, Entertainment, Services and award-winning Schools.
All of these things are why many of the presidents who live here are people who’ve moved here from other areas. People who, just like me, came here to enjoy it as a vacation spot and quickly learned that it feels just like Home.
