It’s true—Prescott is “Everybody’s Hometown!”

Happy lovely young couple holding cups

The first time I visited Prescott, I knew immediately: this is home. Every time I stroll through the streets of downtown, I feel like I’ve been here my whole life. Walking into the local shops, attending festivals and fairs, and even passing friendly faces—it all feels so familiar, like I’ve always belonged. Every meal at a Prescott restaurant feels like a home-cooked dinner with family.

While Prescott’s natural beauty is undeniable—our stunning lakes, majestic mountains, epic hiking trails, and peaceful parks—there’s so much more to this wonderful place we call “Preskitt” (like biscuit). The historic architecture, stories from the old-timers in the square, mom-and-pop shops, and the iconic Whiskey Row—all of it creates the small-town charm and sense of community that so many people long for. Yet, Prescott still offers the modern conveniences of a metropolitan city, from shopping and entertainment to top-notch services and award-winning schools.

It’s no surprise that many of the people who live here aren’t lifelong residents—they’re people, like me, who first came for a visit and quickly realized Prescott felt like home.
